International Facial Nerve Symposium 2029

On behalf of the organizing committee and the Uppsala Facial Palsy Team, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 16th International Facial Nerve Symposium, which will be held in the beautiful city of Uppsala, Sweden, from May 27 to 30, 2029.

This conference, held every four years under the auspices of the Sir Charles Bell Society, is considered the premier global meeting for professionals in the field of the facial nerve. It brings together world-leading experts from multiple medical disciplines to share advances in the diagnosis, management, rehabilitation, support, and prevention of facial nerve disorders.

Uppsala, home to the oldest university in Scandinavia, is a city that fosters international collaboration in innovation, education, and research. It provides the perfect setting for a truly memorable meeting. Its location, just 30 minutes from Stockholm Arlanda International Airport, makes it easily accessible from all corners of the world.

We are preparing a meeting that reflects the multidisciplinary nature of facial nerve disorder management, encompassing all aspects related to the facial nerve. The program will be innovative and rich in hands-on activities across disciplines. In addition, we are planning a social program that will make this meeting unforgettable for everyone, including a conference dinner at the famous Uppsala Castle.
